Clean Bin System
Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains how Taylor Brewster, a sole proprietor in Texas, doing business as Clean Bin System (“Clean Bin System”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit cleanbinsystem.com, sign up a business, or use the back office and the driver app. It also explains how we handle information about your customers that we process for you.
1. Two kinds of information
- Information about you: business owners and team members who use Clean Bin System, and people who visit our website.
- Information about your customers: people who sign up on a business’s sign-up page. We process it for that business and follow its instructions. The business decides how it’s used, and its own privacy policy applies.
2. What we collect about you
- Account details: your name, email, phone number, business name and address, time zone, and your team members’ names, roles and contact details.
- Texting registration details: your legal business name, address, type of business, EIN and a contact person, which we send to the carriers to register your texting number.
- Billing: your plan and payments. Stripe handles card details; we see the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry date.
- Use of the Service: sign-ins and the changes you make (kept as an activity history), and technical details like your IP address and browser, which we use for security.
- Product analytics: the pages you visit and what you click on our website, in the back office and in the driver app, how you found us (such as the ad or website that sent you), your browser, device and approximate location, and errors you run into. We may also record visits to see where people get stuck. Recordings hide what you type, and in the back office and the driver app they also hide the text, photos and maps on the screen, so your customers’ details aren’t recorded.
- Time clock: when technicians start and end their day and take breaks. The driver app doesn’t track anyone’s location.
- AI assistants you connect: which assistant, who connected it and when, and the changes it makes (kept in the activity history).
- Anything you send us when you ask for help, by email or from Help in the back office, including screenshots.
4. How we use it
- To run the Service: sign-ins, scheduling, routes, billing, texts and emails.
- To bill you for your plan and any extra texts.
- To register your texting number and keep it in good standing.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To support you, and to tell you about your trial, your account and changes to the Service.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
5. Your customers’ information
- We store and process your customers’ details to provide the Service to you: names and contact details, service addresses and their map locations, gate codes and notes, bins and trash days, plans, cleanings and photos, payments (through Stripe), and the messages sent and received.
- We don’t sell it, rent it, or use it to market our own products to your customers.
- Our product analytics don’t run on businesses’ sign-up pages or customer accounts, and we keep your customers’ names, contact details and addresses out of them.
- Mobile numbers and consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
- If you or your team connect an AI assistant, it can read your customers’ details that the person who connected it can see, and the assistant’s company receives what it reads. Nothing goes to an assistant unless someone on your team connects one.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information while your account is open. After it closes, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time, unless we need to keep records, such as payment records, for legal, tax or accounting reasons or to resolve disputes.
8. Security
Information is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and only the team members a business adds can sign in to its back office. Card numbers are held by Stripe, not by us. Bin photos, logos and screenshots attached to help requests are kept at unlisted web addresses so they can appear in emails, customer accounts and the request. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can update your details in the back office at any time.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email us and we’ll respond within the time the law requires, after confirming it’s you.
- If you’re a customer of a business that uses Clean Bin System, contact that business about your information. We’ll help it respond.
10. Children
The Service is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Where information is kept
The Service is offered in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here with its date, and tell you by email or in the back office if the changes are significant.
